The RPI Community Advocates and the Pride Center of the Capital Region are pleased to present a staged Reading of the Play 8, a new documentary play by Dustin Lance Black about the federal case for marriage equality.

The one-night only performance will be at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, on Friday, March 22, at 7:30 p.m. Following the performance, all are invited to participate in a Q&A with marriage equality advocates to learn more about the fight for equality in New York State. Advance tickets are $3 each and on sale beginning February 18, in the Dean of Students Office in Academy Hall 4629, and on the Pride Center web site. The ticket price at the door is $5.

The characters of the play include the key participants in the Federal District Court case, now known as Perry v. Brown. Directed by award winning actor, director and producer Aaron Holbritter, the cast includes RPI students and staff, and acclaimed actors and members of the community from the New York capital region:
