Human Rights Week 2010

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

"One of the great liabilities of history is that all too many people fail to remain awake through great periods of social change. But today our very survival depends on our ability to stay awake, to adjust to new ideas, to remain vigilant, and face the challenge of change. The large house in which we live demands that we transform this worldwide neighborhood into a worldwide brotherhood. We must work passionately and indefatigably to bridge the gap between our scientific progress and our moral progress." The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The RPI Community Advocates are proud to present Human Rights Week 2010 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, February 1-4, 2010. The events are sponsored by the Dean of Students Office, the Office of Minority Student Affairs, the First-Year Experience, Residence Life, the Rensselaer Union, the Black Students Alliance, the National Society of Black Engineers, and Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity.
