LIVE UNITED - The 2009 United Way Campaign
Community Service
United Way works to advance the common good by focusing on basic needs, family support and financial stability. Rensselaer has long been an active and proud partner in helping to create long-lasting changes that inspire hope and create opportunities for a better tomorrow. On Friday, October 30th, Rensselaer will officially kick off its 2009 campaign to benefit the United Way of the Greater Capital Region. The campaign runs through Friday, November 13th.
The current economic climate has brought great
challenges. The agencies and collaborative programs
that provide essential, direct services to our communities find
their resources dwindling, at a time when those very services
are needed most. This year, perhaps more than ever before,
we call upon the generosity of the Rensselaer community to meet
these challenges.
